Rose & Oak grew out of a need for skincare and wellness products made from ingredients I could trust, cruelty-free, and crafted in harmony with the land.

Growing up I struggled with acne and sensitive skin. Folks with sensitive skin know the pain and embarrassment that comes along with your breakouts. I tried almost every skincare brand out there, from the most luxury brands to the pharmacy classics. It felt like every product stung and inflamed me further. Finally after a desperate visit with an esthetician, I found my answer; my skin barrier was disrupted and stripped of all my natural oils and protection. The reason why, all of those fancy products and their mystery ingredients.

Most skincare is filled with chemical ingredients that can irritate your skin and harm the planet. When was the last time you looked up all of the ingredients in your skincare products?

After purging my cabinets, I started from scratch, using ingredients straight from my garden. Within days I began to notice a change.

As my garden flourished, so did my ideas. I started creating teas and tinctures with the same healing plants and immersed myself in learning everything I could about natural wellness, regenerative gardening, and how to put the two together.

Soon, my garden became a source of inspiration, friends began requesting custom products for their skin concerns, and Rose & Oak evolved into a farm-to-face, small-batch botanical brand.
